Project: Cottage Charm
This kitchen features painted bead paneling and open shelving. The cabinetry doors are an inset style with fully adjustable concealed hinges. The counter top is custom laminate with a 3-inch solid oak nosing. Features within this kitchen included a swing-up mixer for easy use and pull-out shelving. There is open storage under the sink and open shelving for baskets and canning. Under the peninsula overhang, we handcrafted custom corbels.
Project: Classic Contemporary
These cabinets combined classic red oak wood with black appliances to create a warm contemporary feel. The oak cabinetry doors have quarter-sawn red oak inset panels with fully adjustable concealed hinges. The cabinetry is stained in a light walnut color. The countertops are solid surface Corian with a stainless steel prep sink and offset double basin and red ceramic tile as an accent. The fireplace encompasses open-shelving and enclosed cabinets on both sides for electronics equipment and storage. The fireplace is also red oak with light walnut stain. The master vanities have inset style doors and drawers, carved feet, and are made to accept the vessel sinks. The mudroom features an antique enamel sink with abundant storage beneath. There are also cubby units incorporated for each person in the household. It continues with red oak in the light walnut stain.
